If you really want to have success with women than you need to learn how to talk to a woman the right way. What I mean by this is that you have to avoid doing what 99% of all men do. When most men approach a woman they usually don't have any confidence, they don't sustain any meaningful eye contact, and they lack the necessary social skills to generate attraction from an initial conversation. The good news is that talking to a woman the right way is a learned skill. And just like reading a book or riding a snowboard anyone can learn how to talk to a woman the right way.

There are three basic types of conversation that you can have with a woman. The first type, is known as an informational conversation. This is when you are talking to a woman and you are simply giving her information about a topic in a very blasé or scientific way. Talking about your next job assignment is a good example of this. Obviously, this does not generate attraction. This could be the reason why many scientists have trouble getting a date. The second type of conversation is known as a one-way conversation. This can be either a man talking mostly about himself and not allowing a woman to get in a word in edgewise or this could mean that the man does not know how to engage or challenge a woman so that she will want to engage him back.

The third kind of conversation is known as a two-way conversation and this has a higher likelihood of generating attraction in a woman because she is now fully engaged with you. But having a two-way conversation is not enough to get a woman attracted to you. You must also be in total alignment with who you are as a confident male. Women are not attracted to men who don't know what they want in life. Women are also not attracted to men that don't have a spine. If you always cave into her demands, then she will actually get bored of you.

You will notice that in your many interactions with different kinds of women that they are going to challenge you. This is their way of testing you to see if you are who you say you are. So while you are trying to have a conversation with her she might start to become interested in you. One thing that I've learned over the years is that women love to test men. So they will do things that might seem a little strange. Out of the blue she might ask you to buy her a drink. She might also excuse herself to the bathroom and then on the way there she will stop and talk to a guy that she knows. And she's not doing this to be mean, she is simply going to see if you will get jealous. An insecure man gets jealous and a man who is not insecure won't. So watch out for these tests because they happen all the time.

Some things to keep in mind when you are talking to a woman.

1. Maintain eye contact longer than normal.

2. Make sure you have confident body language.

3. Ask her open-ended questions and then let her run with it.

4. Don't talk too much about yourself and never brag about your job, your money, or your car because these things only communicate insecurity.

5. Make sure you're well-groomed. This will communicate that you care about your appearance and that you have self-respect.

6. Ask for her contact information when your conversation is at it's acme.

7. Do not hang around too long unless you plan on getting her alone so you can really build up the rapport. Otherwise change locations or get her contact information and then leave.

First you should always remember to balance the attitude of a jerk while remaining funny. By acting too arrogant, you'll end up repulsing women instead of attracting them. On the other hand, if you spend the whole time cracking jokes you'll end up looking like a clown. Your goal is to carefully combine both attitudes and create the perfect "funny/jerk" personality.

Keep your arms in front of your body with your palms facing the sky and smile as you talk. It works VERY well on a subconscious level to suggest you are being honest and telling the truth. And if you want a woman to begin to trust you, making her think you are being straight with her, is important.

This open palm gesticulation MUST be combined with a smile to work effectively and it will work for you when learning how to pick up a girl...just practice it and make sure it looks natural.

How to Approach Women without Fear

Indisputably, the biggest problem that faces the new pick-up artist is anxiety that comes from approaching a woman he desires. There have been quite a few explanations for this, ranging from tribal history that has been implanted in our genes, to societal programming on what is right and wrong for us to do.

Put simply, we just happen to desire social acceptance more than anything else that does not physically keep us alive. We want our family to be proud of us, our friends and acquaintances to respect and include us, and the rest of the world to desire us.

What's the opposite of acceptance? Rejection. And that's what we're afraid of.

I'm going to give you some powerful techniques to eradicate this fear's hold on your life, but before that, I want to discuss the root of this in depth for you.

We're going to call a girl or group not being interested as something other than "rejection" or "getting rejected." After all, you didn't get rejected. Your approach did. If you went in differently, the reaction would have been different. We're going to call it "getting blown out" or a "blow-out." This is because while the set didn't know enough about you to reject you personally, they did express that they wanted to end the interaction.

Your use of words is very important. A good friend of mine is fond of saying, "The first set of the night is always murder." Now if you're equating talking to a girl with someone ending your life, of course you will be more than a little hesitant to make that first approach! Anthony Robbins has set up a whole system on how to use your word choice to better your life. I won't get into it here, but in short, minimize your negative word usage, especially if you're describing something that's necessary for you. If you say "Going to the gym is a royal pain in the ass," you probably won't make it there very often. However, if you say "Getting to the gym consistently is a challenge," it's a lot more likely you'll rise to the occasion. So to sum up, I NEVER want to hear you say "I got rejected."

While word choice is important, a bigger issue that holds the outcome of the set. In other words, you are giving two girls thirty seconds to give a full evaluation of your value as a person and judge you accordingly. That's a lot of power to give someone you've never met before.

There's only three reasons an approach might not go well for me:

1) My game wasn't good enough at this point to handle this particular situation

2) My game was good enough, but I made a mistake in this particular situation

3) There were extenuating circumstances that prevented success, despite that I ran a good set.

That's it. There are no possibilities for why it can go wrong.

In my years in the game, I've met plenty of people that make their living teaching men how to pick-up women. These men pick-up beautiful women right in front of their students, sometimes on video-tape. Some of these guys, if you saw them, would blow your mind because they are not attractive by any standards. They have huge guts, often are balding, sometimes pasty white, and sometimes pretty short and frail. This is a hard thing to accept until you're actually seen this, but you definitely do not need to be good looking to attract women. The point I'm trying to make is:

YOUR LOOKS ARE NOT WHAT GETS YOU BLOWN OUT.

Your game is the problem; not your looks, not your value. It's completely dependent on your social skill-set.

When Tyler Durden makes an approach that doesn't go well (which does happen even for the masters), he says it affects him as emotionally as if he was shooting hoops and had his hand crooked on the basketball and missed.

So you have basically three options to consider. You may have been socially miscalibrated and messed up a set you could have done well. So you learn from your mistake. It also might have been a too difficult set for you to win at this point in your learning curve. You still get mad props for going for it and you are no doubt better because you did go for it. The people that get great at pick-up constantly approach sets out of their comfort zones, where instant success is unlikely. It might be a go-go dancer swinging around a pole. It may be a beautiful girl surrounded by 7 guys. It may be a celebrity. When you're higher in your learning curve, you'll be able to own that set.

Until then, it's only practice.

A great PUA named Hoobie once said that "Every failure is a brick in my palace." I would change that to "Every approach is a brick in my palace." The latter is more accurate, because every attempt you make at a pickup, it adds to your cumulative experience.

And of course there are situations where the set-up is precarious at best and it is near impossible to actually win the set. If a group of girls are having a girl's night out for a friend who's husband just cheated on her, they're going to be giving her 100% of their attention and putting guys to the side for the night. There's no way you would ever know that, so just be open to the possibility. This is not to say you should excuse yourself every time a set doesn't go well. You can't always say "She must have been married." You still have personal accountability. Just let the possibility that it was an impossible set be open in the back of your mind.

Now here are some specific techniques for consistently getting approaches done each night:

· Make it a MUST that you approach a minimum of 6 sets for the night. That you literally can't leave til you do it. Make it your goal to get blown out 6 times. Yes, no numbers, no lays, just get blown out. That way when you get blown out you're closer to your goal.

· If you have a wing, give him 100 dollars. Have him give you 10 dollars back for each approach you do. At the end of the night, he keeps the leftover cash.

· Make it a point to say some outrageous stuff in approaches, stuff you KNOW won't work. Every third approach or so, I will sometimes use a "fun" approach that I don't' expect to work like going up to a group of girls and saying "Are you ready for the big time?"

· A good exercise from Ross Jeffries is to go to a place like a shopping mall or busy street downtown and stop a girl and say "Excuse me, forgive the interruption. I'm Manny Martian. What is your favorite flavored bowling ball?" Now that's not a pickup attempt, because you were not trying to seduce her. Go do that about 20 times and it should be easier. It may be better to do that one in a major city an hour or so away from where you live for that one.

You have to go BEYOND what a typical approach is before you feel comfortable with a normal approach. Once you say something ridiculous and realize you're still alive and breathing afterwards, you can laugh it off and it's a heck of a lot easier to ask a couple women what their opinion is on something.

· FOR NEWBIES ONLY: When you approach, touch the girls before you start talking. Like tap a shoulder. That instigates the "point of no return" signal that let's you know you're already in the interaction. When you see a set, go 3-2-1, TAP, and then they're looking at you and you have to speak. After doing this for a few weeks though, quickly phase it out since it is NOT solid game for a proper pickup.

· Practice seeing women for as they are and not as the demi-gods we make them out to be in the field. If you see a woman in sexy bitch boots, sparkling eye shadow, and shimmering lipstick, of course all you can think of how absolutely wonderful it would be to kiss her. Now look at her and in your head take the lipstick off, as well as the rest of the make-up, and think of how she looks on laundry day. You don't have to imagine her ugly, but just a bit plainer. That should take it down a notch.

· Lastly, be social in general with women of all shapes and sizes. The more often you talk to women outside of a pick-up session, the more natural it will be to start a conversation with any girl at a bar. Talk to fat, older and unattractive women as well.

You may always feel some jitters your first set of the night, and I know pros who feel that way after 10 years of picking up the most beautiful women. They just plow through despite the initial unpleasant feeling. And thats what a real man does: act in spite of fear, and act in spite of discomfort.

How To Be "Nice" and Attractive

We've all heard it...and, to a degree, it's true..."nice guys finish last".

Why is that? I mean, wouldn't YOU be flattered with someone who buys you everything you want, arrives promptly on time, thinks of you day and night, and always answers the phone on the first ring??

Actually, NO, I wouldn't at all....

See where I am going with this??

Guys - women want us to be nice to them, but more importantly they want us to have our own LIVES. When, we shower and flatter them constantly, well that just shows them that they are VERY important to us - which might scare the hell out of them.

Perhaps we need to rethink this word "nice" and frame it in the context of being attractive. OK?

An attractive guy is someone whose life is in balance, and is focused on an aim. In fact, each area of a guy's life should be focused on an aim: his career; his health; his relationships; his hobbies etc. In fact, a guy who begins to realize on a deeper level his true nature might even feel a sense of harmony with all of these areas, creating the necessary "balance" of autonomy.

Now, don't let me lose you here. I realize I am getting a bit heady, but just know that aiming towards a goal is something we truly need in each area of our lives.

The feeling most guys project is a sense of desperation, and a lack of a strong footing. Once a guy can arrange his lifestyle in such a way as to help harness his focus (and energy) the sense of desperation tends to wane. His relationships with women lose the importance that they once had. Interestingly enough, he then is more attractive (READ: less desperate) to women.

Once a guy is centered in this place of, dare I say, personal power, he can then be truly nice to women. The former example is mere manipulation, and any woman with a head on her shoulders will smell you from ten miles away. So, stop seeking validation from women, and get your life in order. Once this happens, feel free to be as nice and considerate as you want.

I even tell some guys to STOP dating for some time while they get the rest of their lives in order. Only then is it fair to put yourself on the market. Until then, you will not attract a healthy mate to you, and will instead be looking for someone to fill a hole which they can not fill...that hole is your responsibility, not theirs...

So, just now, take a look at the following areas of your life:

Health/Fitness
Career
Social/friendships
Family
Financial
Hobbies/Other
Spiritual

And score yourself from 1 to 10. We have a more sophisticated way of breaking this down with our clients, and in our seminars, but for now this should suffice. Based on your HONEST answers, where do you need to put some focus? How much time do you realistically need to meet some goals? Also, if you were to raise your level in each of these areas, would you attract someone different than you might be now?

I think that's enough for now - and you thought you were going to hear a discourse on how to be nice. Trust me, each of you knows how to be nice, but what your missing is a self connected with a true source of masculine power. Until you reach that, you will settle across the board, for less than you deserve...

Do's and Don'ts on a First Date

The first date is a critical moment in any relationship. You want to put your best foot forward and make a good impression. In fact, you want that so bad that your jitters and nervousness can derail your attempts to impress that date. Never fear, though, because if you follow the advice in this article, you are bound to make the best impression possible. If the girl or guy doesn't want to date you again, it might just be that you really aren't suited for each other. If this is the case, there isn't any point in wanting it to continue anyway, right? So here are some do's and don'ts that should smooth the way.

Do plan an actual date, such as a movie, concert, or dinner. Have an entertaining evening all planned out instead of just getting together to see what happens. You can always go to plan B later if things are going good.

Do be clean, well groomed, and appropriately dressed for the event.

Do be on time. Tardiness shows a great lack of respect for that other person. Likewise, showing up an hour early because you just can't wait puts pressure on them because they are probably not ready.

Do be decisive about the restaurant or other places you will go, but remain flexible. If you chose a steakhouse, but didn't realize your date was into vegetarian fare, it would be a kind gesture to change the plans to visit a restaurant more suitable to her tastes. Generally speaking, however, someone needs to be willing to make the decisions. Nothing is a bigger waste of time than two people batting a restaurant choice around.

Do take a little time to think up some things to talk about if you are both naturally quiet people. Most people like to answer questions about themselves. Try not to just ask a list of yes or no questions though, as though you are interrogating them. Ask questions that require more of an answer. Ask about his or her hobbies, interests, and ideas.

Don't, however, openly argue with your date's ideas. If you can tell that you are worlds apart in philosophy or religion, it might me a good idea to just enjoy the entertainment and find someone else to ask out the next time.

Don't spend your date doing something self-centered. For instance, if you go to an arcade, let your date play the games, too. Don't sit and talk on the cell phone or do business while you're together either. Your date should have your undivided attention.

Don't make them feel ogled or watched, however. If you find them extremely desirable, try to restrain yourself. Don't put them on the defensive. Give them time to get to know you, and they might find you equally desirable.

If you want to attract women, you have to think like a salesman. Know what your clients want, and tune your product--that's you--to fit the clients' needs.

In order to do that, you have to do the same thing all marketers do to capture people's interest with their products: develop killer PACKAGING. Hey, let's face it: women judge men based on looks. And who can blame them? Before they can get to know you, they only have visual things to judge you on: your clothes, your height, your body language, your status. We men are just like any other product: in order to sell well, we need great packaging! It all comes down to women's evolutionary instincts: find the best mate for them and their unborn children. How do they do this? By seeing which men are strong, which ones are successful, and which ones have high status.

While times have changed, still these instincts remain. One evolutionary scientist, Dr. David Buss, did a study of over 10,000 people in 37 countries, on six continents, and found that women value men based on three big things: ambition, status, and financial resources. Similarly, relationship expert, Andrea P. Roberts, suggests that women determine a man's worthiness based on 3 "T's", or "takais," a Japanese word that represents good qualities: education level, physical height, and salary level. Quite a bit deeper than having a nice ass and big breasts, isn't it?

Okay, some of you may be thinking: Well, I'm not tall, and I'm not rich. Now what?!?

The good news is, height and wealth aren't the be-all and end-all of attraction; they're just aids to success. It's similar to saying you want a really expensive car...but that doesn't mean you'd never drive a Honda. In fact, for a lot of people (including women!), when you learn that Hondas have better mileage than Hummers, they can be more attractive! As Roberts writes, "even an ordinary man doesn't have to be exceptionally rich or powerful to make women want him. It's all a matter of the women's perspective if he ends up taller, smarter or wealthier than them."

Got that? It's all about perspective: how you market yourself successfully to a woman. Hey, lots of people know that Creative MP3 Players are better quality than I-Pods, but that doesn't seem to stop Apple from selling I-Pods like hotcakes, does it? So if you're short, or of average income, but present your positive traits in the right way, it won't matter: you'll become the I-Pods of men! As Roberts writes, "Think of Napoleon, Mickey Rooney or Groucho; they are humorous, artistic or politically powerful men who wooed women into their beds and, horizontally, the height issue wasn't a factor. Polite and persuasive persistence is the best trait."

So what we have are five areas that we must market effectively if we want to spark an initial attraction from women. After that, it's up to you to show what a great guy you are: let her know you're special, unique, one of a kind. That's what makes you...a best-seller!

1. Ambition From an evolutionary stand-point, this one makes complete sense. Think cavemen and cave women in the Stone Age, with some of the weaker cavemen seeking a higher station in the tribe. Who do you think the cave women went for? The men who hobbled along meekly in the bottom of the order...or the men who strived for more and sought a higher place in the pack? Much of a woman's desire to be with a man who is ambitious and seeks success, is based simply on survival: The more powerful the man, the more likely she'll survive and live well. Logically, going for a guy who has no ambition means she's likely to live in poverty and struggle. Not very appealing, is it?

So you have to present yourself as a guy who's not satisfied with his station in life. This is good for both you and her. If you're making $6 an hour at McDonald's and are content to stay there, not many women are going to be attracted to you. But if you're making $6 an hour and working your ass off to own your own franchise, taking business classes at night so you can learn how to run a business: well, suddenly you're not so bad-looking! Believe me, women will give men a chance, they want to give men a chance--as long as they see potential. Know that quote, "Behind every great man is an even greater woman"? Show you've got potential and direction, and you'll get that great woman.

2. Status Again, evolutionary instincts of survival make women naturally attracted to men of high status. High status=good living for herself and her children. Fortunately, projecting high status does not have to be difficult; according to Roberts, "Wearing the right clothes, especially nice shoes, can go a long way toward portraying wealth. Taking on the unshaken or unworried attitude of wealthy men can project affluence. Hesitant, irresolute, bland men come across as having lower incomes and being less reliable." Got that? You don't have to be a powerful, articulate man yourself-you just have to project similar qualities. Some of these qualities include:

* Not putting yourself down. Without being a braggart, talk positively about your accomplishments, job position, and possessions-even if they're not much. If you treat things as a big deal, other people will, too. Conversely, if you downplay your accomplishments and character, women will, too. Your attitude is contagious, so make sure it's an enthusiastic, enlivening one that people enjoy.

* Act like you deserve good women. Don't let women assume a higher status than you. Show them that YOU are the one with higher status. You can do this in a number of ways, including not acting impressed by a woman's beauty or career (say, she's a model); teasing her about her clothes or makeup; and asking her to buy you a drink. Chances are she won't, but just by acting like you deserve it, you raise your status! She's not such an untouchable goddess in the end.

Remember, as well, that women want to EARN a man; they relish the challenge of luring in a winning catch. So play hard to get: talk to other girls, say you've got to be leaving just when things are going well, don't immediately ask for her phone number. If you act like a man who can have his pick of women, then chances are, you will!

* Knowing people of high status. This is a great one. Get to know the people of power: the club owners, bartenders, maitres'd. Position yourself as a sociable person who's in the know. When a woman sees you getting special treatment and chatting with high-status people, she'll see right away that you're someone of importance. It will also reduce the importance of the other factors, such as height, money, and ambition; immediately you've proven yourself valuable.

* Social proof/Female acquaintances. Hey, nothing says, "This guy's attractive" than having females around him. Of course, the hotter they are, the hotter you look, but even just having average-looking female company can only help: it shows women that other women are interested in you. Do your best to get your female friends and family (sisters, cousins) to come out with you. It's social proof, and it works!

* Wearing nice clothes. "When a man is well dressed," writes communications expert, Leil Lowndes, "it signifies his ability to provide for her offspring." You don't have to be rich and powerful to wear nice clothes. You just have to show that you're a man of quality, a man headed towards somewhere who pays attention to dress (something women cna never get enough of). Formal clothes, such as a suit, convey that you are serious about success; you desire good things. So just by wearing a nice sports jacket, dress shirt, and slacks, you let a woman know you're a man with status. You're a man who could provide for her and her children.

The colors you wear are vital: Studies show that red, burgundy, and black clothes convey high status. So get yourself some slick black suits or formal wear, a red shirt, and one of my favorites (and girls'!), a sleek burgundy button-down shirt. They all convey regality and strength.

In the case of red, you have the added bonus of sexuality, power, and dominance: definitely good qualities to portray! Go and purchase a nice red polo shirt, or red tie for your suit.

If you enjoy white clothes-the color of purity and cleanliness-then make sure you work on your TAN. White clothes against a dark backdrop make you look exotic, sexy, and well-travelled. You don't have to be an jet-setting playboy, to look like one!

* Winning body language. Women judge men by the way they move and position themselves; it's part of their superior communication skills to know what a man is thinking or feeling based on his body language. So, position yourself in the right way: don't slouch, sit upright, gaze at her knowingly, lean into her to initiate intimacy. I've got a great column on body language that will teach you the right ways-and the wrong ways-to project high status.

3. Financial Resources According to Matthew Fitzgerald, author of "Sex-ploitation," "Studies with college coeds show that when shown photographs of men dressed in high-status uniforms, ties, expensive watches, etc.) and low-status uniforms, these women would be significantly more willing to enter into relationships with the more expensively-attired males regardless of the man's physical appearance. To a woman, attraction is simple: green is very good-looking."

Okay, so not every guy has money for expensive suits and watches, and materialism may not be part of your game. However, if you want to impress women, one of the fastest ways is by wearing snazzy clothes, sporting nice shoes (girls LOVE shoes!), and driving an expensive car. Especially when it comes to designer brands, women are VERY keen at spotting high-quality products. It's just part of their nature; with expensive possessions come high status and ambition, and a more comfortable lifestyle. Again, this all comes from their instinctual drive for survival and prosperity for themselves and their children. By owning the best, you become the best. At least on the surface.

Ultimately, if you want true love it's up to you to find women who share the same goals and values. If money and status aren't the most important things in life for you, don't chase the girls who do prioritize those things. Don't go for the shallow, bitchy types who only judge a man by how much he can spend on her. 4. Educational Level Knowledge really is power, and on top of that, it's an aphrodisiac! Gone are the days when being smart was acquainted with being a nerd; now, knowledge and intelligence are your friends. It's the easiest way to money, and the easiest way to success. So show it off a little. Let her know your TALENTS, your interests, your areas of special knowledge. As Roberts writes, "Women are drawn to experts like the Crocodile Hunter, Bill Gates and Chris Rock because they're experts in their industries." None of those guys is particularly good-looking, but they're good at what they do, and parlay their knowledge into success, which drives women wild.

A guy who's an expert is one who is clearly successful and of higher status. At the very least, having a special knowledge means you have the TOOLS for success, and can provide intellectual stimulation for a girl (which, unless she's a bimbo with an IQ of 70, is quite important for women).

Additionally, just being in school is a great way to show off your knowledge: "If you're in school, not only are there more women available, but you've already demonstrated to them that you're getting educated. Otherwise, it's up to you to come across as reliable and credible without making her feel dumb."

5. Physical Aptitude Physical height alone is an easy way to catch a woman's attention, but it's not the only thing. Again, evolutionary mechanics come into play here. A man who is tall, strong, and athletic is more likely to fend off threats to the woman and her children. He is also more likely to have a strong immune system, which will further aid their chances of survival. So, you can't blame women too much for valuing these things: in the world of female attraction, it really is a survival of the fittest. Those who show women they are in shape and healthy are much more likely to survive the dating game! Ergo, athletes, bouncers, firemen get the girls.

As for height, it's all a matter of perspective. We've all seen short guys with tall beautiful women. Neil Strauss himself, the best of the best pickup artists, is just 5'6" yet gets more beautiful women than we can imagine. How? By believing in himself. By positioning himself as a man of high status. By not bowing down to women of greater height or beauty. And by being a guy women know is fun and energetic to be around. In short, he's got INNER GAME, and when you have that down, nothing can stop you. You may even find yourself dating women who are taller than you!

But remember, presenting a man who's healthy and strong, willing to stand up for himself and the girl in a fight: that's the kind of guy who women will go for, regardless of height. Did you know that men with strong immune systems give off pheromone scents that women are instinctually attracted to? If you pay attention to what you eat and go to the gym on a regular basis, you're going to build your immune system up, and attract women without even trying! So do it, and watch the number of dates you get, soar.

In the end, men are like books: women judge them by their covers. But inside is an even great story. So make your cover captivating, and you'll become a "best-seller" in no time!

6 Gifts You Should Never Give Your Girlfriend

It's your girlfriend's birthday or your first Christmas together, and you want to get her the best gift she's ever had. Gifts mean a lot to women. The right gift tells her you're thoughtful, observant, and you really understand her. The wrong one, however, can tell her just the opposite. Don't get stuck in her Bad Boyfriends Book of Records. Here's a list of the six worst gifts to give your girlfriend.

Exercise equipment. Nothing says, "I think you could stand to lose weight" like a Stairmaster. The same goes for a set of barbells, a Pilates instructional video, or a gym membership. Even if she's talked about getting fit, this kind of gift will make her wonder whether you like her body the way it is.

If you really would like to see her exercising more, lead by example. Join the gym yourself. Chances are, when she sees how great you look and feel, she'll be inspired to join as well. You could also take up a physical activity you could do as a couple, such as cycling, jogging, or hiking. To increase the chances she'll get into it, pick an activity she's expressed interest in before. It should also be one you can do relatively easily. Don't decide to take up sea kayaking if you're two hours' drive from the ocean, for example, and don't pick one that you need a lot of expensive equipment to get started in.

Cookware. The subliminal message here is "Get in the kitchen and make me some supper, woman!" This is a bad gift even if she's expressed interest in cooking--or if you'd like her to. If you have a master chef for a girlfriend, it's especially important to pass on this kind of gift. It's likely she has everything she needs already, and most high-level cooks are picky about their equipment.

If you really would like to encourage her to cook more, start with some positive reinforcement. Praise the meals she does cook. If you tell her you see her as a great cook already, she's more likely to take more of an interest in the culinary arts.

A vacuum cleaner. The same goes for feather dusters, mops, bottles of Pine-Sol, oven cleaner, Lemon-Scented Joy, and any other household cleaning products. These gifts tell her that you see her as more of a maid than a girlfriend.

A puppy. Animal gifts are tricky. Sure, puppies and kittens are adorable--but they're also a lot of work. Food and vet bills can be expensive, and many pets require a change in lifestyle to take proper care of. For these reasons, it's best not to surprise your girlfriend with a new pet.

Part of the fun is choosing the pet yourself. If your girlfriend has told you she wants a dog or cat, offer to take her to the local animal rescue shelter instead and pay for the pet she picks.

Something you want for yourself. You know you've been tempted to buy her that subscription to Fly Fishing magazine, new set of golf clubs, or Playstation II. Don't do it! She'll see through it instantly.

Jewellery. Jewellery has a great deal more meaning for most women than other gifts. If you give the right one, she'll see it as a sign that you're the right guy for her. If you get it wrong, however, at best she'll laugh about it with her friends for ages. At worst, she could see it as grounds for doubt about the relationship. If you're going to give her jewellery, you'd better get it right the first time.

What makes giving jewellery so difficult is that every woman has distinct tastes. The jewellery you pick could be too chunky, too eccentric, too classic, too delicate, too cheap-looking or expensive-looking for her. Some women never wear gold, some never wear silver, and most women have a preference for certain precious stones over others. If you really do want to give her jewellery, casually take her into a few stores. See how she reacts to the merchandise. Make note of any pieces she especially likes. Then go back later to buy them.

Most women don't want practical gifts from their boyfriends. They want gifts that send a positive message about how you see them. A sparkling diamond bracelet tells her you see her as precious and beautiful. Elegant lingerie can tell her you see her as sexy and desirable. A book about something she finds fascinating tells her you take her interests seriously. However, it's important to take her unique tastes into account before buying her any present. If you do, and if you follow our tips, you should be able to find her the perfect gift.

Man's Best Wingman: How to Train Your Dog to Help You Attract Women

Yes, dogs are great "assets" towards picking up woman. Attraction isn't a choice--but if you understand how having a dog is something that women are naturally attracted to, you can use a dog to your advantage!

First, a warning: DON'T get a dog just for picking up women! As a dog-lover myself, it's important that I tell you to only get a dog if you're going to fully train it and give it the time and attention it needs. I actually just found out about a great site for dog training. It'll help you decide if you have the time and energy for a dog, and if so, what to do to train it properly. As I mention below, a well-trained dog is an attraction-building dog!

Benefits of Showing Off a Well-Trained Dog:
* If your dog is well trained, it shows you're in control and have power over animals--which will make it seem like you have control over women, too.

* Having a dog makes you look more affectionate. Give your dog lots of cuddles and praise in front of girls--they love this.

* It shows connections. As women are all about friendship building and connection making, having a bond with a dog shows you know how to build a bond like nothing else.

What dogs are best? Definitely the beautiful, lovable, fairly big dogs, like golden retrievers, German Shepherds, and labradors. You especially can't go wrong with a lovable, playful Golden Retriever. Small toy dogs, like Pomeranians and chihuahuas, may be cute, but they don't exactly make you look manly. * Play with your dog. Have fun with him. Show the girl you're having a good time: when a girl sees the dog is having fun with you, she correspondingly feels like she could have fun with you. You come across an energetic, fun person.

On top of that, by getting physical and into it with your dog, you show you like to exercise and are not a lazy, sit-around-home kind of guy. Just by appearing outside at the park, you come across as sociable and fit.

* When playing with your dog, make sure you teach him some tricks, and do those tricks in front of the woman. This is great for filling the second rule of The Tao of Steve: Have a talent it and present it to the woman. If a woman sees that you can train a dog and make him obey you, she'll wonder what it's like for HER to obey you...a very scintillating prospect!

* Without making it obvious, get the dog to go to your girl. You can do this by throwing a ball near her (a bit obvious), or running around with the dog near the girl, and doing something funny like making the dog jump a lot. Girls love to see an excited dog playing with his master. If you're really bold--and your dog is trained to do it--you can have your dog do something cheesy like bring a flower to the girl. Do this by training your dog the Fetch and Leave commands.

It's no wonder dogs are so great for attracting beautiful girls: What woman doesn't love a cute furball who's full of fun and excitement? Actually, we could learn a few things from dogs:

* Girls love someone who's bursting with energy
* It pays to know a few "tricks"
* Don't be afraid to showboat a little!
* Girls love to be licked
* Come only when commanded!

Look up in the sky at night. Pick out a star. Call her and tell her to look out her window. Describe to her how to find the star you're looking at. 8 Ways To Heal When Love Hurts

Sometimes our loved ones hurt us. Dads can get physical or disappear from our lives. Moms can betray us with their anger and lack of support. A best friend can shock us by turning their backs on us. A spouse can be unfaithful and destroy our trust. Our children can take a destructive path that is sure to crush our heart. These are some of the big hurts in life that leave us wondering how we will ever heal.

But there are little hurts too that can build into mountains of resentment if we don't address them. Angry words are exchanged during an argument. A friend neglects your friendship. People take you for granted without even knowing it. Your child rejects you in a moment of hurt and frustration.

To hang on to hurt or anger is destructive to our emotional, spiritual, physical and relational health. It drains our energy, strains our relationships, and zaps the joy from our life. So how do we heal our heart when love hurts? Here are some suggestions to help you move beyond the hurt and get on with enjoying life.

Confront Your Anger: Our initial reaction when someone hurts or betrays us is often anger. Maybe we feel violated or disrespected. We want to perhaps lash back and make the other person hurt. Refrain from doing that. Anger expressed when we are hurt can be distorted and damaging to our relationships. Take some time to handle your anger in another way. Talk with a trusted friend, counselor or life coach. Express your feelings in a journal or write a letter to the person who hurt you (but don't give it to them).

Seek Truth and Understanding: How can you better understand the person who hurt you? What truth do you need to know about the other person? Sometimes people hurt us because they are hurting too. Other times people hurt us unintentionally. Ask for the truth and be willing to hear, accept and embrace it. Share your truth and help the other person understand you.

Search for the Lesson: Experiencing pain and suffering is not easy. However, there is usually a lesson to be learned from our pain. What aren't or weren't you paying attention to? What does this experience teach you about yourself and the other person? What changes need to be made as a result of your pain? While the human drama includes pain, we have a choice in how to view it.

Give Grace: We are all human, and we all make mistakes. Some mistakes are worse than others, and some mistakes hurt more than others. Most of us are doing the best we can in any given situation. People make choices based on their past, their belief systems, and the past and collective thought of humanity. Unfortunately, people sometimes make choices that hurt us. We need grace when we make choices that hurt our loved ones, and our loved ones need grace as well.

Accept the Love Deposits: When we are hurt, it is sometimes difficult to accept the apologies and attempts to make amends from our loved ones. Maybe your guard has been thrown up and you're unsure if you can trust again. One way to heal a wounded heart is to allow yourself to truly feel the sincere love deposits that are made to your emotional bank account. Maybe the love will come from the person who hurt you, but maybe it will not. Seek out and embrace the love that is being given to you.

Grieve the Sadness: With hurt comes sadness. Maybe you feel sad about what happened. Perhaps you feel sad about what you didn't receive. Sometimes the sadness is an indication that you need to grieve the loss of a dream. Allow yourself to feel the sadness - let the tears flow. Crying is a very cathartic ritual.

Set Appropriate Boundaries: When our loved ones hurt us continually, we may need to set boundaries for healing to take place. A child may need to go to his room when his anger is destructive. You may need to end a conversation with someone who is hurting you. It's even possible that you need to end a relationship that is repeatedly hurting your self-esteem. Healing cannot take place if we don't take care of ourselves. And people will not begin treating us with respect until we respect ourselves.

To forgive means to give up all resentment and the desire to punish the other person. In our heart, it means we've cancelled the debt we feel others owe us.

We've all had that special woman in our lives. You know... the one with the sweet personality, the really nice hair and a perfect face. She dates the more "adept" guys... but how can you get her to like you?

Here's some tips for going on a first date to help you make sure that you're taking your relationship where you want it to go.

1. Take her somewhere that you go often. You'll give yourself a lot of credibility and value if you take her to place where everyone knows you. Stop and chat with the staff there. Learn their names and make sure they know yours. It only says good things about you. If you don't have a place like this yet, make one.

2. Take her to an interesting restaurant. It's a lot more fun to go eat sushi or some type of authentic ethnic food than just going to a more common restaurant. You don't want it too be so interesting that there's always something crazy going on and you can't talk to her. Just make sure it is a little different.

3. Relax. The more you relax and show that you're comfortable, the more your date will relax. If you feel like you're getting nervous or tense, just take a deep breath, relax your shoulder muscles and smile. Just focus on having a good time.

4. Get rid of your expectations. So many guys that I meet wrap expectations around everything they do. They think, "buying dinner = she's going to be my girlfriend or wife." If you just spend the time that you're together having a good time, acting like you would around someone you already know well and show that you couldn't care less if anything happens between the two of you, you'll have a much better chance of progressing things than if you act like she's the first girl you've seen in twenty years, acting really nervous and so dumb that she runs away.

5. Don't talk about normal boring topics or "guy topics". If you want to be like every other boring guy out there, talk about what job she has, where she has gone to or goes to college. Only talk about guy topics like sports, lifting weights or something like that if SHE is already very interested in them. Also, don't cling to a topic like it's the only thing you can talk about. If a conversation dies, let it go.

6. Have a story or two that you can tell if you run out of things to say. One of the best ways to keep a conversation going is to have a few stories that you can tell at any time. When the conversation stops, just say, "Anyway," and go into a story. The story doesn't have to be something too amazing, just a little bit different.

Tell a story about a date that you went on where your date did something embarrassing or funny. Women love to talk about relationships and I've found that they are the easiest to come up with. If you're having problems, just grab a girly magazine and read it for 15 minutes. You should find more than enough things to talk about in there.

7. Know a little bit about a lot of things. You can ask me about almost anything and I probably know enough about it to talk for at least 5 minutes. The more you know about, the easier it will be to hold conversations on just about any topic.

8. If your date wants to talk, listen to her. People like to talk and get the feeling that what they have to say is important. This doesn't mean that you should ask her endless questions trying to get her to talk. If she's not talking, feel free to. But, don't interrupt her if she is.

9. Don't try to impress your date. One of the worst things a guy can do is talk about how much money he has, what kind of a car he drives or anything else that comes across as trying hard to impress. If you do have a cool house or car, let her find out when she sees it. And if she isn't impressed by it, don't be surprised. You're much better off by just being a relaxed, fun, cool guy than you are trying to impress her.

10. Have a plan. You should have your date planned in advance. And although you should have it planned, you should also be flexible. If something comes up that could be a lot of fun, don't be so rigid that you can't change plans. Your plan should be more of a guideline so that you always have something to do.

Flirting is the way most people determine whether or not a member of the opposite sex is interested in them. Following is a quick outline on how you should go about the complex, sometimes fun, sometimes not so fun, task of flirting. It all beings with your approach.

The Approach

One person approaches the other. They move into closer physical proximity. This much is clear: NO approach equals NO possibility of initiating contact. You must approach!

Example: A woman sits down next to a man in a coffee shop, or a man stands near a woman in a dance club. This is the first step. Once you approach, you begin looking for the signs.

The Signs

The person who has been approached will always signal the other's presence in some way...a sign. This signal is not like a train whistle, however, more a subtle body language which you can learn to recognize. For example, he or she simply may look up, move over to make room, nod slightly, or signal with a glancing eye contact. A display of total obliviousness to the one who is approaching generally indicates lack of interest altogether. Don't be discouraged. But if the one you approached shows absolutely no interest, then it's time to re-group and try again. But let's say the approach works. You have your positive acknowledgement, now what? Time to talk

The Verbal Exchange

The two people may then engage in a mild verbal exchange about impersonal, unimportant matters such as the weather or the scene around them. The key word here is MILD. This is the classic place for the clever "line," but cleverness is not required. At this point, a verbal exchange is not for the purpose of sharing valuable insights about life or determining philosophical compatibility. It is just a vehicle to further the developing contact. Examples: Verbal overtures might include anything from "please pass the pickles" to "your looking great tonight", to "have you seen the waitress?". Without some form of verbal response, it is highly unlikely that the next step will occur. Let's say all is going as planned. Time for body language.

Body Language

Over a period of time, a couple that has begun to talk may also begin to orient themselves physically to one another, to turn toward one another until, if all is goes well, they are fully facing one another. This is your goal. This step can take minutes or hours . . . or weeks or months . . . to achieve. Yet, without this physical reorientation toward one another, not very much can ever happen, so give up on people who turn their back toward you for long periods of time! But if they don't...

Touching

The woman or the man (most often the woman) touches the other in a light, fleeting way. Examples: A couple might accidentally brush their hands against one another while reaching for a drink, or the woman might pat the man on the arm in the middle of a shared joke. The exchange of very subtle, almost glancing touches may continue for some while, and if all goes well, can escalate into the casual affections shown by couples who are dating. If you've reached this point, then flirting has now become the beginning of a relationship. The Art of Flirting should always end with the beginning of a relationship. Now get out there and flirt. The Art of Flirting is really the Art of making first contact. You only have one shot at making a great first impression. By following some of the guidelines we've established in this article, you should now be equipped to locate, approach, and ascertain whether or not your subtle flirting has opened the doors to a new and exciting relationship.

If you're at a club or a bar or somewhere else where there are girls out to meet people, which ones should you tend to aim to flirt with, and possibly end up dating? Take a good look at what the girls are doing. If they are just scanning the crowd, not talking to each other very much, this means one of two things. They may be desperate for a date, which may well be a type of girl to go for if you need to build up your confidence, but you may not find there's much inside; or they may be looking for entertainment, which is likely to be hard work.

It is generally better to try flirting with groups of girls that are spending a good proportion of their time talking to one another, but are also looking around. These are probably interesting girls to meet, and if the group is open enough that you could easily join it, that's another good sign. If the girls aren't looking around at all, they aren't interested in meeting anyone else! Look also for open body language. Folded arms and legs are not good signs; lively, lighthearted conversation is what you're looking for!

Once you've seen somebody you fancy in an open group or alone, before you put your foot in it, test the water. Start your flirting now, by looking at the girl for about four or five seconds. Look away for a couple of seconds with a small smile on your face, then look back again. If she's caught your eye and has a slight smile on her face, you're in with a good chance!

The next stage is to walk up to her, and begin your routine. You could do this by walking somewhere with a purpose in mind, and "accidentally" brushing against her. She will know that that was your real intention, which is exactly what you want, and you'll know whether it's worth continuing to flirt by whatever she says or does next! You'll either get a playful smile or something similar like a joke, which is a green light to go ahead, or you'll get a look of disdain or something like that, which is a signal to go away.

Don't worry about getting rejected! The best way of looking at this is to imagine that you're the prize, and if she's not interested then it's her loss. If she rejected you in an overly harsh way, would you have wanted her anyway? If you worry too much, then your lack of confidence will be broadcast for all to see by your body language. Also, be of the mindset that it doesn't matter whether you end up dating this girl or not. There are plenty of single, available girls out there! A great way to build your confidence, if you need to, is to keep doing this until you are comfortable doing it!

It's best to either join the group on your own; you will be displaying a lot of confidence if you do this, which is very attractive; or with one other man. Don't travel in packs when you're flirting; it just doesn't work. It's far too off-putting.

Once you've joined the group, don't ignore the rest of the people there; that would be rude. However, do concentrate most of your attention on the girl you fancy. Otherwise she will not get the message; she may even think you've gone off her!

If things continue to go well, you'll want to find some reason to touch her! I'm not talking about a handshake or a peck on the cheek, either. If she is close to your personal space, then she's looking to be touched, actually. Perhaps hold her arm lightly while you point something out to her. Touch does make a great deal of difference, and it should be high on the list in your flirting repertoire! As she and you get more comfortable with touching each other, you can then start to be more daring with your flirting! Who knows, maybe you'll get as far as a first kiss, or even further, tonight!

He doesn't ask her phone number directly, he patiently waits for her to get interested. He acts and talks differently than most other guys, and that gets Eva intrigued.

And just at the moment when he feels she's finally taken off her built-in radar, he leaves her. And that's exactly what you need to do. A lot of guys get good things going by having a good conversation, but after a while that conversation becomes lame and by the time they ask her number, she's already gone, maybe not physically, but mentally.

Let other guys do the talking, let other guys buy expensive gifts, let other guys sink their own ships by being too nice and too cheap with women. Don't do the same mistakes that thousands of guys do when seducing women.

It's all about the attitude. Display the right attitude (stop being a nice guy) to build your way to more success with women, and smile when you see guys behaving like ass-kissers around women. Ass-kissers become friends. Confident guys (non-nice-guys) become daters.

For thousands of years in our human history, the art of picking up women remained very much a mystery for men in general.

A few "gifted" guys, being naturally blessed with the skill of picking up women, found it very easy to attract and seduce women.

On the other hand, other guys (including me) had a very hard time getting Any dates with girls.

Fortunately these days, the art of attracting women is no longer a mystery and the skill can now be taught to any man alive, even those with ZERO natural talent.

And you don't even have to be rich, famous or good looking to become a successful "pick up artist."

There are three stages to any successful "pick up."

1) Approach: Never approach a woman with your body fully facing her. This signals far too much interest and you'll give off a desperate "vibe." Instead, try to stand at a slight angle to her body.

Always start the conversation with a comment, question or statement consisting of two qualities: humour and arrogance.

For example, you meet a girl you find attractive at a bookstore. You decide to pick her up by teasing her for just looking but not buying any books.

You could say "I couldn't help but notice that we've both been in this section for a while now. I didn't think beautiful women used my little old trick of reading entire books in bookstores for free while pretending to just check them out.

I thought only guys like me did that to avoid giving our money to the greedy bookstore owners. I'd rather give it to my greedy landlord instead."

2) Building Trust: The aim of this stage is to get a woman feeling that she can trust you enough to get physically "intimate" with you.

You do this through the art of story-telling. What type of stories? Any story that shows your sensitive human side.

For example, how you just lost your dear pet dog Buster, that you've had since you were ten years old. Or how you once helped a stranger while on holiday by protecting them from some local thugs.

By telling stories like this, she would feel like she's known you for years even if she only just met you.

When you do this correctly, you dramatically speed up the process of having An intimate physical relationship with her. If you don't do this right you could end up having to take her out on countless dates before you even kiss her.

3) Seduction: This is where you "close the deal" so to speak in a pick up situation. Women usually feel "cheap" if they get physical with a guy too soon in a relationship.

So you have a girl and you have done some things right and you've got her going for you. You studied body language, word patterns, behavior patterns and practiced them enough to have a beneficial effect when used on this girl. Now you have this girl and she is interested in you, she likes you, but you have not yet established an agreement that you are going to be together. Before you do that, the girl will throw out some despairing curve balls. Girls do this, especially in the last minutes when they give in. It might just be the final struggle before she is subdued. They do not always do this, but if there was hesitation or signs of uncertainty on your part, or if you have needlessly rejected the girl before, this is the result.

She will say that she has a boyfriend, that she is not interested, that she's not looking for a boyfriend etc. whatever. The key her is to not to argue with her or respond in any way. Let this one slip, just nod your head and stay silent until she vents out. Wait until she is done and then continue with the next subject, talk about her new bracelet or whatever. First Date Tips

When it comes to your first date, you want everything to go smoothly and according to plan. Here are some top tips to make sure you both have a great time!

Tip 1: You could do the typical thing, and have a meal in a restaurant for your first date. However, if you do that, and later you find out that can't stand your date, you will have to wait until the end of the meal before you can make a graceful departure, and that may be a couple of hours away! Besides which, it can be expensive, and remember that you have to tip! Instead, consider choosing a coffee date at a Starbucks or similar coffee cafe. It won't last long, and if you find you don't get on with your date, it won't be long before you can find the door.

Tip 2: Why not do something more adventurous on a first date? A fun activity like ten-pin bowling or a visit to a theme park is far more likely to be enjoyed by both of you than a cup of coffee, and even if you don't like each other, you should enjoy the activity! Do try to look for something that you'll both enjoy, though. Ice skating may be fine if you're both keen to do it, and have about the same level of skill; otherwise, give it a miss.

Tip 3: If you must do the typical dinner-date for your first date, at least try not to make it somewhere really expensive, where you'll be frowned at by snooty waiters for any little slip that you make. It should be obvious that you should also not go for a meal at a cheap fast-food restaurant! Try to go for somewhere cosy and comfortable. You only need somewhere that's priced at around the £10/US$20 per head mark. You could even go to a pub; there are plenty of inns that have a very cosy, intimate atmosphere, and you can get some nice, cheap meals at these places for about half the price of a restaurant meal.

Tip 4: Your choice of clothing for your first date should be in-keeping with the activity you intend to do. Within the bounds of being appropriate, try to dress reasonably smartly, and be well-groomed and washed. Clothing is more important for men; affluent dress will certainly impress. For women, make-up is more important; men don't know a great deal about clothes, especially ladies' clothes, and as long as what you wear looks good superficially, that is all you need to worry about, except of course, don't dress too provocatively unless you're looking for action.

Tip 5: Don't do something that you are not both comfortable doing! If you do something just to please him/her on your first date, you won't enjoy it. This will come across in your body language, if nothing else. You'll be very bored!

Tip 6: Do something that will involve the two of you talking, at least for some of the time. A visit to the cinema is no good at all; a theatre visit could work out, because there's an intermission. For a first date, you want to get to know them! How are you going to do that, if you don't do any talking?

• Don’t go thinking about what happened at the office today, tomorrow’s appointment, or whether the children are putting up a fuss with the babysitter. Do be in the moment.
• Do turn your cell phone off or at least put it on vibrate alert. Don’t interrupt your date to take call after call unless you’re looking to “turn off” your date.
• Don’t monopolize the conversation. Do listen to your date and show interest in what your date is saying by asking some questions. This is an excellent opportunity for the two of you to learn if you share any similar interests, values, and goals.

What is leadership?

It is important to immediate communicate that YOU are the leader, not let and not let somebody else communicate that they are leading you! A lot of guys unfortunately and mistakenly place women on some level that they can not reach and therefore let the girl have total leadership and let them be in control of situations.

The reality is that the girl NEEDS what YOU have. Therefore YOU are the leader!

The one quality that communicates leadership, more so than everything else, is slight overconfidence.

Leadership = confidence.

Be overconfident in a charming and maybe even funny way. Don't be overtly arrogant unless you're dealing with someone who is being arrogant and overbearing.

-- Confidence" is a vague term. Confidence really means --not insecure." In other words, it means not being submissive and not seeking anyone else's approval, including women and others. Most people seek women's approval, and even other men therefore destroying confidence.

Confidence is seen in an outward way as having a calm, cool, smooth demeanor with relaxed, spread out body language. This really communicates confidence and a total lack of insecurity.

Leaders DO NOT seek anyone's approval! Say this to yourself: --I approve. You are the one who approves or disapproves of what is going on. What anyone else thinks is irrelevant because You are the one who judges. Repeat this often before going out to a bar or club.

Leadership = dominance.

Dominance simply means that YOU are in control, and others must comply with YOU.

Being dominant does not mean being domineering. Domineering is a sign of insecurity oe domineering people are trying to overtly control others. Dominant people do not overtly control or manipulate others; they control THEMSELVES and SITUATIONS.

Leadership = control.

Control means control over yourself and situations in which you find yourself. Others defer to you and your judgment.

Control does not mean to be controlling. Like domineering, controlling suggests insecurity. You should strive to be in control of yourself and situations, not to outwardly control other people.

You have probably received or sent roses at least once in your life. Besides the obvious "Someone has thought of me", what do roses say? Roses and their colors have different meanings. You are probably thinking, "What are the chances that the person receiving the bouquet even knows what the colors mean?". Chances are they don't. Always have a smile, listen attentively, be yourself, have fun, and the list goes on. If you are certain then plan a special occasion for it. Make it a significant moment in your life - one to remember with fondness for your whole life. Once the later part of the afternoon rolls around you will have to begin setting up for dinner. In advance of this day get together some Romantic accessories. You will need candle holders, and candles. Place mats, a table cloth, even some silk flowers in a vase you can add to the table. You'll also need wine or champagne. Find yourself a tape/cd of Romantic Music. An oldie but goodie would be a Barry White album. For dinner itself, you may be surprised to learn that it really doesn't have to be exotic. What ever you are good at cooking is just find. A lot of times it is the small jesters and atmosphere that makes the difference. So, if pasta is your thing, that's cool. Just dress it up a bit. Make a nice chefs salad as an appetizer. Find a local bakery and pick up some fresh buns or biscuits. While you're there pick up something for dessert. And, since most women loooove chocolate I'd go with some sort of chocolate layer cake. Well...really...anything chocolate would be great!

Now that you have dinner under control and you are chilling the wine/champagne it's time for you to get you ready. You need to shower, brush your teeth, splash on some great cologne, and find something really sexy to wear. Here is where you're going to have a bit of fun with your sweetie. Find a sexy pair of underwear and put just a housecoat over them. Now, write your sweetie a note, say something like "Sweetie, I had such a busy day I was tired and had to lie down, please come to the bedroom when you get home." Leave the note where she'll find it as soon as she comes in. Now, remember those rose petals? Sprinkle them on the floor leading to your bedroom, also put some on the bed. You should be lying there in your most sexy pose when she opens the door.

Pickup and Seduction: How NOT to Trigger a Woman's Sense of Rejection

By now, it is pretty well accepted that women like a man who is a little bit cocky. If you are interested in dating more women, then pay close attention.

It's true. If a man is confident, bordering on cocky, he will present himself as a challenge, and we all know women love challenges.

Other times, a man can go too far with this behavior and make a woman feel so insecure, she feels underqualified.

Sometimes going to far with any technique, no matter how good, will not get your desired results. In the case of acting too arrogant, a woman will sometimes feel so rejected, she starts to pull away.

What happened is, you triggered her "Auto-Rejection Mechanism".

She interpreted one of your actions as rejection, and as such, she responded in a way to shield herself from further rejection.

Metaphorically speaking, you stuck in the knife, and she was merely attemtping to prevent you from twisting it.

It's a natural response to that type of thing.

It may look like she's shutting you down, and isn't attracted, but in reality it's a completly rational response to your mis-callibration.

There are a couple of very common situations in which a woman's auto-rejection mechanism is triggered.

These are:

1. Using cocky humor in a miscallibrated or overly serious way.

It is very important to blend your humor with a very warm vibe. Your body language and tonality should be implying that you are busting on her in a very caring way. Oh, and be sure to smile.

2. Showing disapproval when you are in your screening and qualification phase.

If she is attracted and at the point where she is talking about herself in an attempt to win you over, let her. Show approval and be genuinely interested in what she has to say. Don't punish her for opening up to you and trying to win you over.

3. Creating an opportunity for physical escalation and not following through.

This is very common, and actually we get a LOT of questions about this phenomenon. Sometimes a guy will have a girl ready to go, ready for sex, and he will either escalate too slowly or not at all. Out of the blue, the woman stops returning his calls.

If you produce a window of opportunity for physical escalation, make it happen.

4. Not calling her after sex, and expecting her to follow up.

After sex, sometimes a guy will feel as if he has won, and a girl should now persue him. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

If a woman opens up to you physically, she needs to be comforted in a way that doesn't make you seem like a player. (That is, if you wish to make the relatioship go further than a one night stand...)

If you feel you have gotten into this type of cycle, do not fear. There are remedies for it.

1. Spot it early.

If you notice that she may be pulling away because of underqualification, that is a sure sign of the Auto-Rejection Mechanism.

2. Falsely disqualify yourself.

Once you know that she is definitely attracted but a bit scared of being rejected by you, tell her something like this:

"You know, I think I may be too much of a bad guy, and the last thing I want to do is break your heart."

This will set up a challenge for her to conquer and will cause her to argue the other side of your point. She will once again become interested.

3. Qualify her for not playing games.

Tell her:

"You know, it's really refreshing to know a girl who isn't into playing games with guys. You seem very up front, honest and confident in going after those things that you really want."

This will give her a bit more confidence in showing her interest in you. It will also stop her in her tracks from playing hard to get.

Using those techniques will give you a safety net for going overboard with cocky humor, which seems to be a very common sticking point these days.

Let's take a step back, my friend.

I love the techniques and flourishes used to meet women, and date them. And make solid connections and relationships, if that's your bag, or get laid, if that's what you'd like. Or both.

But there's one little big thing that's absolutely crucial to your success.

You need to take the time to become a more attractive person.

Most people don't like how they look to some extent. And many people use this as an excuse to not try their best. I hear men acting defeated that they're not six feet tall, so they don't even try. They let themselves go entirely.

Let me tell you: A woman will take a guy of just about any height that's well-groomed, healthy, and fashionable over a tall guy who is a mess.

If you're serious about getting the women of your dreams, you should make a commitment to spend a few minutes each day grooming yourself.

A big list of little things that'll make you infinitely more attractive:

-Doing your hair

-Cutting your fingernails

-Washing your face

-Taking a shower

-Styling your hair

-Shaving or trimmering your beard

-Clean clothes

-Clothes that fit your figure well

-Chapstick or lip balm

-Adjusting clothing to look good (tucking/untucking, how many buttons done up, etc)

-Cleaning your shoes

-Color coordinating an outfit

-Brushing/flossing

-Breathmints

-Eating healthy for even just a few days in a row

-Any kind of exercise, even just 20 pushups once a day

And so on.

Doing little things like that will make a drastic difference. Get a haircut. If you've got a collared shirt, go get it pressed at the dry cleaner's. There's now convenient teeth whitening strips available at the grocery store. I did it, and I'm really happy I did. My teeth sparkle. Took me a few minutes a day for a couple weeks.

Don't do these things to "get women". They'll help a lot, but the main reason you should be doing this is for you.

And treat yourself to a couple cool, simple accessories. I like to buy relatively cheap sunglasses because I seem to lose shades about every three months, but I have fun with them while I've got them. My current pair is light blue and transparent. My last pair were throwback 70's-style rose-colored shades.

Rings are good. If you don't want to make a big production or commitment to getting a piece of jewelry, just go put $2 worth of quarters into the little jewelry machine in front of any supermarket. You'll probably get 1 or 2 interesting rings that'll fit on your pinky.

Get a bracelet or a necklace that has some meaning behind it. It doesn't have to be outrageous. A silver necklace from your religion, if you have one, is good. A Crucifix, Star of David, or Moon and Star will work fine. Could be a symbol from one of the planets. It could be anything with something interesting, unique, or important to you on it.

It'll help with conversation and it'll make you stand out from the others a little bit. Bracelets go the same way, by the way. Though it's quite mainstream, something simply like a Lance Armstrong "Live Strong" bracelet would show some character and style on your part.

Something I make sure to tell my wealthy students: It's more important that your accessories are stylish and interesting than they show you're wealthy. For example, a friend of mine is involved in real estate and does pretty well. He has two watches: One is a blue-faced solid gold Rolex. The other is a cheap Nike runner's watch.

He's into the study of seduction himself, and he came to find his yellow runner's watch is better for meeting women than his Rolex. Of course, this varies, but being interesting and stylish is far more important than appearing rich (which you can appear to some extent if you're not wealthy, but carry yourself well).

Body language and posture: I could go on about subtle nuances of body language for a while, but let me give you two major components. First, rise up to your full height. Never slouch, slump, or such. You'll look defeated. Rise up to your full height regardless of if you're short or tall.

Second, pick your chin up. Everywhere. Hold your head high, so your chin is parallel to the ground at worst. Having your chin pointed higher, towards the sky, is okay, but never look down towards the ground as you walk, sit, or talk with someone.

Do little things. Technique takes a bit of time to develop, and is great, but you can greatly supplement your technique by taking just a few minutes to do one little thing for yourself.

Single and strong yet at the same time desperate females are the new images of women these days and you see this portrayed in the media. I am not talking about Desperate Housewives-- for one, I never hop the bandwagon and watch or like what everyone else likes. But that doesn't not make my judgment of men out of sync and "whack." I digress. My point is the reason why so many women out there are single is because they believe the "good men" are all taken. Having a larger population of women in the world generally does not help either.

So women are desperate. Why are so many men still single and seeking help from articles such as this one?

For one, men need to have more confidence. Not to the level where they shoot their noses and chins in the air and they are disgustingly arrogant. A slight air of arrogance is sexy. Too much is not.

Building more confidence can start slowly. Learn to look a person and not just a woman one is attracted to in the eye. Stand up straight and tall. Don't try to distinguish oneself with stupid comments, jokes, and noises. Immaturity is such a turn off, especially when women these days are out for the kill, meaning they are serious most of the time. It doesn't mean boyish charms are turnoffs as well. Just be able to differentiate between the two. A shy smile, some genuine naivete is not the same as hair pulling, fart jokes, burping, and butt scratching.

Relationships are so hard to form and so easy to destroy these days, proven by the vast amounts of Dating for Dummies and other such literature on the subject. Love is taken granted for, hearts are broken, and bonds are not ever-lasting. We have cynics and skeptics, we have the strong romantics, we have so many females out there waiting for romance.

Sometimes, people are overlooked, males and females alike.

It is also the sad truth that we are build to be superficial-- yes, we are, no matter how much you think you aren't, you will still like what is beautiful to you-- and a good population of people are generally not good-looking.

For men, confidence can help with your looks. As well as a nod to the metrosexuals, just don't overdo it. A guy who spends more time obsessing about his looks than a typical woman is not exactly attractive. Showing vanity is a no no. It doesn't mean you should spend five minutes in the bathroom each day, throw together some mismatched outfit and have pieces of dandruff in your hair and dead skin/dirt on your face and hands.

Just know, you are doing this for yourself. When you are ready for a relationship, build your confidence, take care of yourself, and try to loosen up a bit. Sweep girls off their feet. They are tired from waiting for the right one. Compromises, people... We must all compromise and make little sacrifices for what we want in the end!

They like it very much when you remember dates associated to her. Just does the simple task, on her this birthday give her surprise party? You will find amazing results for it. I advice every body to make special dairy of dates associated with her or now days with technology advancements one can set computer alarms. This is really a wonderful idea, if implemented properly. I again say this is great idea and going to be successful with 99.9% women.

Third is realizing your emotions to her. Women like if you show your emotion with her. They may be related to her or to others. Women are the masters of emotions. Picking Up Women At The Local Laundromat

Ok, you’ve probably heard that Laundromats are great pick up places, better than a singles bar – that’s because they are! Maybe not better, but certainly a great alternative that’s just as good. You can pretend your entire motive is to wash clothes, and that you’re not on the make. The woman won’t have that feeling like you’re just trying to pick her up if you strike up a chat here – even if that’s exactly what you’re doing!

What really helps you out here is that women like to talk, and they love to give advice – especially to “helpless” men! First of all, pick a good Laundromat – meaning one where you’ve seen lots of attractive women who aren’t dragging a bunch of kids with them or wearing wedding rings. Basically, pick one in a neighborhood with lots of young, single women – they’ll be using the Laundromat close to home. And don’t worry if you already have a washing machine at home, it’s worth the trip out and a little change to meet women! If you meet someone that eventually makes it back to your place and discovers you have a machine at home, just tell her it was broken, or better yet, be honest and say you went to the Laundromat hoping to meet someone, and that was the best decision you ever made because you met her.

But let’s back up, first you’ve got to meet her! So go to the Laundromat with your basket of clothes – no detergent. Make sure you don’t bring anything a woman might find disgusting – like really dingy, holey underwear, badly stained T-shirts, or socks that used to be white but now look like you walked through mud in them. However, something slightly stained won’t hurt – like a grass stain on your jeans or chocolate sauce on a shirt. You can use this later to help with the conversation

Go in, plop your laundry basket down on a machine near one or more ladies you wouldn’t mind picking up, and start digging through the basket like you’re looking for something. Then say out loud to yourself, “Oh, man, I forgot the detergent!” Laundromats usually have a vending machine selling detergent, so go over and start browsing. Act like you don’t know which one to pick, then go to the woman you want to chat up and say, “Excuse me, they don’t have my regular detergent here and I don’t know what to use. Can you help me pick one out?” Women can’t resist an opportunity to give advice, and they love the idea that men might be helpless when it comes to some chores, like laundry. This is where, if you’ve got the grass stain or whatever, you can bring that up and say you don’t know what to do to get it out. She may come over and show you how to rub detergent on the stain, etc. After you get the detergent, go back to your machine, fumble around, and go back to her and say, “I’m sorry to keep bothering you, but these machines are different than what I’m used to and I don’t know what setting to use. Could you give me a hand? I’m sorry to seem so helpless.” Milk the helpless bit for all it’s worth. Ask her how much detergent to use, what colors you can wash together, and what temperature to set the water at – whatever you can think of.

Also, if the Laundromat doesn’t have a vending machine for detergent, ask the woman if you can borrow some of hers. Insist on paying her back by paying for her washing or dryer use. Either way, once you’ve got her talking, keep chatting about clothes as long as that stays interesting – once it starts to get lame and boring, ditch the topic! Make sure and introduce yourself and get her name, then start asking her about herself. Find out where she works, what she does for fun, what movies or bands she likes, what her favorite types of food are. You can use that info as she’s packing up her clothes to leave – Say, “Thanks so much for the help. I’d love to pay you back by taking you out for some Italian food (or going to hear that band you like, or see that movie you said you’d been dying to see.)”

And one last thing, be ready with an explanation of why you’re using this particular Laundromat if it’s not in your neighborhood, just in case she asks. Make sure you pick one that’s not too far from home, and just say the one in your neighborhood was full and you didn’t want to wait for a machine. Now grab some change, a pile of dirty clothes, and get ready to bag that babe!

Being married has always been associated with greater mental and physical health. Bachelors don’t live, as long, at least that’s what the myth indicates. In the past studies have shown married men live a longer life with greater psychological happiness.

There was an English study for 10 years ending in the millennium of 10,000 adults. Both men and women were interviewed and asked a series of questions about being depressed or anxious.

Long-lasting relationships that have weathered the storm provided excellent mental health.

People that had failed relationships and were now alone had combinations of grief and anger and were often depressed. Both men and women had poor mental health after this experience. But for those who could move on to new relationships, much of the damage was somewhat reversed. Although women seemed to have a harder time of letting go than men did.

Women's mental health progressively deteriorated with the more break-ups they experienced.

For men that had several different experiences it seemed the opposite was true. Men who had more then one relationship and moved on seemed to be in excellent mental health. Those men that had only one relationship and not moved on were not as mentally stable.

Women who never married but lived with their mate were in great mental health unlike men in the same situation.

And you have that savvy. Don’t think so? Of course you do! You’re here, aren’t you? Now all you need are a few online dating strategies to get and keep you going. The mistake most singles make when using an online dating service is that they think that all they have to do is join a site, post a profile along with a picture, maybe, and PRESTO, their email box will fill up with all the dating offers they could ever want.

While this may be true for some lucky online dating singles, it isn’t true for most of us. We need to take care when writing our personals ads and profiles. Then we have to wait . . . and wait . . . and...

The waiting, though, is a good indication that we need to make adjustments in our profiles. Or maybe we need to switch to a different singles category. Other singles will more likely think you’re a pervert or are just interested in one thing (and while this may be true and perfectly fine, most people want you to at least appear to be interested in them as people too, okay?). So use your words carefully.

• Take care not to give out too much personal information such as your address, home and/or work email address and phone number. Sad to say, but you can’t trust everybody, so be careful. Keep your personal information personal until you have met someone face to face, usually in a neutral location. Better safe than sorry (Mom was right again, darn it)!

• Always be honest. Sure, there’s a tendency among online singles to stretch the truth a bit, and it’s even expected. Telling outrageous lies, though, will get you busted when, and if, you ever actually get to meet the could-be date of your dreams. And that’s a good way to end a potentially great relationship before it even gets started!

I usually put women into 3 categories: in the first there are ugly or average looking girls. In the second category there are girls with "supermodel" looks. And I named the last category, "girls you really like". The first needs no explanation. The second category changes by time and fashion: currently, it's girls who are 180cm tall, who weigh 50kg and who have mostly blonde hair and a certain type of face. When we talk about "hot girls" we like to talk about girls in this category. But what about the third?

Have you noticed that there are certain women you have "a thing" for? These girls don't resemble the actual trend in supermodels. At least not in 100%. They are taller or shorter. They might have a bigger nose or smaller lips. They might not have the biggest boobs. But there is one thing in common: you will have a "fetish" for these girls. A little thing or feature on their body, which attracts you like a magnet.

Let's see my case as an example. I love shorter (but slim) girls who have a very fragile body-type. Are these girls 180cm tall as the current trend in supermodels dictates? No. I also love girls with exotic faces or certain exotic features on their faces. Do these girls have a baby face like supermodels should? No. Do I still like these girls? Of course! If I am with a girl like this, am I getting the kind of women I want? Of course!

I'll share a secret you will like: Oftentimes, these unique types of girls you find attractive will find your type attractive as well! When I was younger and less successful with women, I have noticed getting signs of interest from these girls I had a thing for.

Later I realized that it was somehow made to be this way: I respond to their looks and they respond to mine. As I talked to many guys since then, I had to realize that I am not alone: most of the guys experience this! I don't know if there is a logical reason behind this phenomenon, but it's not important at all. What matters is that you can attract the kind of women you have a thing for damn easily!

I don't say you should restrain yourself from going for supermodels. But do not let the trends dictate which kind of girls you should date and which kind you shouldn't. The above is the type of women, which could give you a lot of joy and happiness.

Okay, so you’ve been emailing each other for awhile, maybe you’re text messaging and perhaps you’ve talked on the phone. You feel a certain chemistry and you want to move on to the next step, the FIRST DATE. You can’t decide where to go or what to do. The possibilities for that first date are endless. I’d like to make a suggestion; skip the whole dinner and a movie thing. Try something different. Step out of your comfort zone; out of the box. Remember when you were little and it was okay to color outside of the lines? Try it. It can open up a whole new world. Forget about the standard dinner and movie. Dinner’s nice, but why spend two hours in a theater watching someone else when you can be doing something fun that will help you get to know one another?

Put on your thinking cap and get creative. If you’re not the creative type, ask for help from your family and friends. Not only will something different be fun, but you’ll stand out in the crowd. Your date will remember the fact that you gave some thought to where you were going and what you were going to do. Your first date can easily be a success. There will be plenty of time later on, if you continue to see each other, for dinner and a movie.

Personally, I like bowling. You might be laughing right now, or thinking "no way", but I can tell you that it can be a lot of laughs. Bowling is a gas, and it's a great idea for a first date! It’s also nice that you are surrounded by other people, making your date feel safe. In addition, the fun and laughter around you can be contagious. If neither of you have ever bowled, it can be a learning experience for both of you, and no one will be at an unfair advantage. If one of you has bowled before, it can be an opportunity to be a teacher. On the other hand, if both of you have bowled, you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Throw a little alcohol into the mix (for it is one sport that actually invites you to imbibe) and just have fun. You might each bring a friend, which will also alleviate some of that "first date" stress.

If you’re not into bowling, a picnic can be nice. Now, I understand that picnics usually have a romantic stigma attached to them, but you can change that. Rather than finding a nice little secluded spot in the middle of nowhere, plop yourself down in the middle of a populated park somewhere. Entertain yourselves by people watching. You can make an impression, if you put some thought into it. Think about the menu and the accoutrements. If you’re not so swift in the kitchen, ask someone who is. Try a local deli or gourmet store. Many of them will be only too happy to put the whole thing together for you. Pick a menu and accessories that will make a statement. Forget the styrofoam cups and potato chips. Up the ante a little bit. A bottle of wine or champagne is a nice touch, but don’t forget the corkscrew and the glasses. There’s nothing worse than finding yourself unprepared when you’re trying to make a good first impression. Make a list and check it twice. Remember something to sit on, and make sure it’s nice, clean and without holes or stains. Remember napkins; cloth is nice. Be sure to bring such things as salt and pepper, and ice cold bottled water is always good. Run through your plans with a fine toothed comb and get rid of any snags.

Where you are and the time of year can help dictate where you go and what you do. If the weather is nice you could take a nice long walk or hike, and stop somewhere along the way for something cold to drink. You could go to the beach, walk along the boardwalk and stop for lunch overlooking the ocean. Roller blading or bicycling is always an option, as is a trip to a local winery or a farmer’s market. If it is winter or the weather is chilly, your options might be a bit different. Instead of roller blading, you could try ice skating. If you’ve never skated and you go to a public skating rink, you can find comfort in the fact that you won’t be the only ones falling down. You will be surrounded by others doing the same. If there’s snow around, you could go somewhere nice for lunch where there is a wonderful view. The possibilities, like I said, are endless.

If you plan ahead of time, you can ask others for dating ideas. Your Aunt Mary of Uncle Bob might know just the spot. You can go to your local Chamber of Commerce or Visitors Center for information. Sometimes we have events in our own town that we know nothing about. When the weather is warm, many towns and cities have outdoor concerts or festivals of some kind. There might be someplace historical you’ve never been. Museums and art galleries are good too.

So, if you want to have a successful first date, give it some thought. Don’t be afraid of the unknown. Instead, embrace it. Enlist the help of family, friends and co-workers. Peruse your local Sunday paper or Weekly. Dare to be different. If the date ends up being a bust, at least you’ve tried something new or out of the ordinary. Good luck and happy dating!

Mistake #2: "Maybe You should go on a diet." Women are insecure enough about their bodies as it is. Seeing models and actresses on TV and in magazines makes many women feel like they're not good enough. You should never let her know that you notice her flaws, because she's probably already obsessing over them.

Mistake #3: "I don't ever want to get married." Most women are interested in long-term relationships. Plus, they love weddings. Telling her that you NEVER want to get married will definitely cause conflict in your relationship. Saying this to a woman may end your reltionship or lead to a psycho possessive girlfriend.

Mistake #4: "My ex used to do it different." Your new honey does NOT want to be compared to your ex. Do not remind her that you ever had sexual & romantic feelings for someone else. You might end up making her jealous. The exception is when you are making a comparison extremely favorable to your new girlfriend. However, you have to be careful - bringing up past lovers too often for no reason will make her think that your ex is still on your mind.

Mistake #5: "Maybe I should go without you." If you're going somewhere, and your significant other wants to come, just let her! You know that she might not enjoy herself, but denying her will make her suspicious. Besides, isn't it fun spending quality time together?

Mistake #6: "That fart you made was killer!" If you're both really close and comfortable with each other, this might be okay. However, when she lets one slip by accident and starts blushing, DO NOT laugh at her. It's an extremely embarassing situation and she doesn't need you to notice that she has "odors."

Mistake #7: "Why do you always want to talk?" I'll tell you the answer now so that you never ask her this. The reason females always want to talk, is because that's what they're good at doing. They've been doing it for years and that's what they're used to. Your silence can mean a lot of different things to a woman, some bad - so open up and let her know what's really on your mind. If you don't want to talk, say that you don't want to talk right now, but would be happy to in 1/2 hour. Anything else will make you look like an insensitive jerk.

Keep your woman happy and don't utter any of these offensive remarks. Remember that saying the wrong thing could mean that you end up sleeping on the couch tonight!

Taking a girl out on a date already says a lot. But this whole business is not just about seducing someone. You must gain the confidence and trust of the person sitting at the other end of the table. More than that, you must make her feel good in your presence and even want more. How to do this? Simple! When you're not flirting with her just let her take control for a while.
Always keep in mind that women's favorite subject is themselves. This little "bug" in their software gives men a big advantage in a conversation and that is curiosity. Yet, only few use it because of the misconceptions surrounding curiosity in general. Curiosity may have killed the cat, but when a conversation between a man and a woman is concerned, I don't think it ever hurt anyone. What I'm trying to say is that if she says something that makes you curious... just ask her! This will tell her that you are interested in her person. Nevertheless, watch out for those not so discreet questions that could turn you into a cat and get you killed.
Another thing most men forget is that women, even the prettiest, disregard themselves. If you discovered something about her that you really like make sure she can feel your admiration. This rule applies to anything from the color of her eyes to the way she back-parked her car for example. Still, try to use original ways to make compliments and remember that you'll receive the most "points" for cherishing her intelligence.
Always listen to her when she talks! Sounds too obvious? Maybe, but the key thing is that it counts less if you've been really listening to her as long as she thinks you weren't. Therefore you can use several tricks like saying confirmation phrases ("I see", "yes" etc.) showing that you're following her. Just don’t do it so much that she mistakes you for her shrink. Re-telling what she just said is another useful skill as long as you don't abuse it. You simply rephrase what she said and she'll know you got the point. Nevertheless it can be very annoying if you overuse it.
And, as I mentioned earlier, when she makes you curious about something just ask her! This proves you were listening in the first place. The same happens when you make a compliment based on something she just said.
But curiosity can also be used whenever you run out of topics in a conversation. Every woman is curious by nature so all you have to do is to stir her curiosity and forget all about you running out of interesting subjects or her getting bored.

Dating Ideas – The All Day Date

Surprise the love of your life with an all-day date! This is for those really special times in your life like a significant anniversary, a special birthday, or just to let her know how much you love her. This date takes a bit more planning than most, but will be a day that she remembers for the rest of her life.

Have a theme and oddly enough, leave early in the morning on the day of the date. Plan on being back around 5:00. Leave your first note where she will find it. This note should say something like, “This is going to be a very special day. I want you to start by taking a nice long warm shower. Relax and enjoy yourself."

Leave the next note near the shower, telling her to open it after her bath. It could say something like, “Go to the laundry room and find your first gift of the day!" After her nice long shower, she will go and find the first gift, maybe a stuffed animal. Underneath it or between the paws there should be the next card that tells her to, “Go to the mall and spend the $50 on something you have been wanting to get yourself! Be back by 1:00.”

Your next clue could say, “Just relax and read a book or watch a movie”. As the next surprise, have flowers delivered at 2:00. Have two cards. One should say, “Open Now” and should tell her how much you love her and that you hope she is enjoying her day. The second should say, “Open at 4:00”. This will continue to build the suspense.

So, it's 4:00 and she's ready for her next clue. Tell her to get dressed for an evening at a nice restaurant and give her enough information to know what to wear. You can ruin the whole day by not providing enough information so that she knows how to prepare.

Come home about 5:00 and see how she is coming along. If she has enjoyed the day, which she should have by now, she should be telling you how much fun she is having and how she can't wait to see what is coming next.

Have a limousine come and pick you up to take you to the restaurant. This will really surprise her and it will make all of her friends jealous.

If the restaurant takes reservations, make them in advance. If you know the restaurant well, visit them ahead of time. Drop off a single rose in a small vase during the day and ask the maître d' to present it to her when she comes in the door with you. Your date will continue to be surprised in a very nice way as the evening goes on.

Next, take your girl to the nicest hotel in town, again delivered by limo! This hotel part is where the extra planning needs to take place. The next part is something that few guys will ever do and something that she will remember forever! Pack a small suitcase or duffel bag and deliver it to the hotel a day or two in advance with casual clothes and toiletries. No woman wants to go home the next morning wearing the dress-up clothes that she wore the night before! She will be much more relaxed and relaxation leads to good romantic feelings!

Arrange for breakfast in bed and have the limo pick you up and drive you home!

The daylong date takes some work, but is really a lot of fun. It includes the day-long anticipation of things to come, notes, secrets, and surprises lasting all the way up until the following morning! It doesn't get much better than that. This is the date that she will always remember, and so will you!

At first dating is fun but as you go on it's so easy to fall into a rut. A night at home with rental movies or a dinner out or a movie is all you ever seem to do and you are getting bored. The boredom most likely is not because of whom you are with, it could be that you have fallen into a comfortable rut.

There are so many options of things to do but sometimes people are afraid to try something new. I don't like it, now what? What do I do if I like it and she doesn't? Fun and excitement can be apart of your life again don't give up. Since you and your dating partner have common interests let's take a look at all the various kinds of dates that you create.

Let's take a look at general types of dates and try to expand on them. There are movie dates, dinner dates, and dancing dates. At best, they would make a very short date, by themselves. Do you think a dinner and a movie or a movie and dinner at club that has dancing is a good idea? Going to one of the many movies or going to clubs that cater to various genres could be fun.

How about a game of billiards? If you both have connections to a Church, church activities could be interesting for you. Concerts by Christian singers and/or bands hold concerts all over the place. You could try attending something similar to a Billy Graham Crusade or a rally. A Church or Temple will be able to tell you what is available for young people or young adult couples, if you are not Christian.

If you go to any type of concert it could be interesting, you might find a type of music you never thought you'd like. Another idea might be going to the theater. Something that is even more fun are dinner theaters. Shows like Disney on Ice and Stars on Ice are fun, and so are plays. Going for ice cream or a walk on the beach is a simple date.

Are at least one of you, if not both of you athletically inclined? Running together could be fun. It might be interesting to try hiking in an area you've never been to before. Dusting off your bikes and going for a ride instead of using your car, especially with gas prices so high.

Aside from the fact that it is fun; it is physical and it gets you to where you want to go. A walk in the summer rain, horseback riding, and roller blading can be fun. You don't really just want to stay home do you? Rent a movie you haven't seen or rent a favorite romantic movie. Try playing games such as Chess or backgammon or how about Jenga which is a puzzle game, they can be fun.

Do you like intellectual stuff? Lectures and museums are interesting and a lot of fun. Do you know of a planetarium nearby? A way of not having to go outside is to go to a planetarium. A day trip can be fun, and for New Englander's Boston, Massachusetts is a good bet.

Boston boasts of the Science Museum, the Children's Museum and the famed Freedom Walk. The Freedom Walk will take you by the original Cheers bar. For something fun and educational, go to the zoo. A visit to the Public Gardens or Art Exhibits can be very relaxing. Is your guy into automobiles?

Stock car races are an option as are monster truck rallies. Do you enjoy any crafts? A craft fair may have lessons in crafts such as scrap booking which is something a guy could get into that isn't just a 'girly' activity. Try cooking together it can be fun.

Try taking classes together, such as a cooking or pottery class. Learning something about another person is the whole point of dating. Try bringing your date along once or twice if you volunteer visiting nursing homes. Trying all these different things will help you both decide on things you both enjoy.

Sometimes though it is a good idea to do something you may not like a whole lot so that your date at least knows you care about them and the things they like. Dating can be disastrous but it can have its perks too. You may have only one date or a first date over and over. A wonderful relationship is possible if you are mutually respectful of the others needs and interests of the other and can compromise without resentment.

If dating doesn't lead to a marriage this is a possible. Wonderful friendships can be developed. Work on one date at a time. It is important to learn to trust and respect one another. Live life and enjoy each other. Have fun and enjoy your life. Although dating is a challenge understand that before you kiss your prince, you may have to kiss a bunch of frogs.
